Half-wits Fanny and Jens start their training at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and together with their incompetent supervisor Mimmi they manage to create a diplomatic crisis with China already on their first day.

The shambles diplomats Fanny, Mimmi and Jens is made to handle a potential scandal with the Embassy of Great Britain, however just by trying they risk causing an even greater one.

A Russian battleship is provoking Swedish territory, and Sweden must make sure it never happens again. But the Ministry for Foreign Affairs worst staffers have different priorities – and the risk for a disaster is looming.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is hosting a theme day on feminist foreign policy and the trio are in charge of preparing Yemen’s visit to Sweden. A would-be simple task, however, as always, they’re close to a diplomatic breakdown.

Sweden has managed to bring Japan and the Philippines to the negotiating table, and everything is set for the mediation on comfort women – an ongoing conflict since the WWII. It only takes Mimmi, Jens and Fanny an afternoon to wreck it all, or…?

Mimmi is on her way to Rome, Jens is almost in Rio and Fanny is ready to do anything to get away. Despite all of this they still manage to drag the Ministry for Foreign Affairs great reputation down the drain.

The three incompetent diplomats Mimmi, Fanny and Jens are kidnapped in Afghanistan. The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs is not prioritizing their rescue, so the trio are left to sort things out in their own original ways.

In the search of the disappeared hacker Park Jin-Ho, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs has pulled out all the stops. Jens is facing economical difficulties, Mimmi isn’t getting enough credit and Fanny is making things worse for herself.

Jens is using the gentlemen’s club Nya Sällskapet in order to sort out his finances. Mimmi finally lands the role as poster girl for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, but also makes an ugly discovery that must never be revealed. Or…?

Mimmi and Jens get the chance to show their diplomatic muscles when the Chilean delegation in vain is demanding an excuse for the Boliden scandal. The new-old “ping pong-hop on-hop off”-method suits the task well.

Hendricks’s skills is tested when it’s time to butter up the Congolese delegation. The only things that might go wrong is that Fanny has never been to a banquet, Mimmi can’t handle a gift, and Jens solution to everything is a bag of pills.

Jens makes a final desperate attempt to regain his rich man lifestyle, but nothing can threaten Mimmi’s career boost – apart from the truth and the past. The future of Fanny and Park is balancing between rescue and disaster.
