The three Plonsters drop in front of a billboard. They are captivated as they read the advertisement for a safari. They immediately decide to fly to Africa. Plummy turns himself into an aeroplane and they're off! They arrive in the jungle and Plif and Plops build hammocks and take a nap. Plummy is disappointed and looks a little lost. However, he has an idea. He quickly builds a net and he's off to catch some butterflies. But Plummy has nothing but bad luck. Even though he changes the net for a camera later on, it doesn't get better. The animals in the jungle annoy him very much and they also laugh at him. Frustrated, he goes back to his friends to tell them of his ordeal. Plif and Plops feel sorry for him and with a bit of skill they take the craziest jungle photos ever!
In the middle of the countryside is a small lake. A few ducks swim on it. Plummy is delighted with this idyllic scene, takes a bag of bread out of his pocket and starts to feed the ducks. Plif and Plops, who drop in on the other side of the lake, see this and as they are hungry, decide to do something. But their attempts always go wrong. They still don't have any luck even when they turn themselves into a huge duck, or carp, or eel.
It is evening and time to go to bed. Each Plonster climbs into bed and reads a bit of his book. After that the lights are turned off and they go to sleep. But soon after Plif and Plops wake up because Plummy is shouting so loud. They calm him down and discover that he has been having a terrible nightmare. They put a teddy bear in his arms and go back to sleep. But Plummy is now as happy as a sandboy and cannot even think of sleeping anymore. What now? Plif and Plops have to turn themselves into sheep so that Plummy can count them and fall asleep. And it works! Plummy sleeps deeply and snores very loudly. The other can only fall asleep after they've made themselves some ear plugs.
Again Plummy wants to do some gardening. This time he builds an orchard. As usual the other two don't want to do anything and take a nap under a tree. When the fruit is big enough to be harvested, he builds a market stall and starts selling it. It doesn't take long before the others arrive. They don't have any good manners and eat up all the fruit. Plummy, who tells them that they have to pay for the fruit, is laughed at. Only when he turns himself into an enormous pumpkin can he impress Plif and Plops and as compensation they have to work for him in the garden.
Plonsters are also playful and this time when Plummy drops in, he starts building a chess board. He makes everything himself, even the figures. Now all he needs is a competitor. Plops who now also appears doesn't want to play with him and fetches the green Plif. Plummy is literally thrown out and is of course angry and as the others begin to play, he starts to think of some nasty tricks. Plif and Plops start arguing about stolen and broken chess figures. Plummy turns himself into a horse in order to stop the fight and finally they all manage to play the game together.
What does a Plonster think of when he drops onto a catwalk? Exactly, a fashion show. Plif and Plops think this is a wonderful idea and start dressing themselves. Plif as commentator, Plops as model. But everything always seems to go wrong. The clumsy Plummy always happens to be doing something at the wrong time. Sometimes he's a piece of string making them all stumble, a handbag or an ape who eats all the decorations from a gallant hat. Of course it doesn't go well and finally the whole catwalk collapses. However, the audience wildly applauds this unusual performance.
Plif and Plops drop into a desert and start to build camels. Plummy who turns up a little later on, wants to come too. Plif explains to him angrily that there are only two camels and Plummy has to stay behind. But Plummy is not stupid and starts to build himself an aeroplane and follows the two camel riders. After a few hours of riding under the hot sun, the two Plonsters could really do with a bit of shade and something to drink. But, as it is in the desert, they only encounter mirages. But before they dehydrate, Plummy appears and after a discussion, the two egotists agree that three can also ride camels.
This time the three Plonsters want to go to an art museum. Plummy who doesn't really want to go is dragged along. As soon as they are in the museum, Plummy creeps away from the other two. As Plif and Plops 'expertly' discuss amongst themselves, Plummy starts to change many of the works of art. Of course, the other two don't notice that Plummy is doing this and they start to complain that the museum catalogue is full of incorrect pictures. But Plummy starts to overdo it a bit, and the other two realise what is happening. An expensive sculpture breaks and the three of them have to look for a replacement.
Plummy drops into the countryside and has the idea to build a nice home. In a short time he builds the walls, a roof and the windows and doors. Finally, he makes the furniture. Plif and Plops who drop in too, really like the house and with one trick they succeed in getting into the house and locking themselves in. Of course, it all goes wrong and after some turbulent problems they find out that they would have achieved more by being friendly to one another. That way they all get a nice house for the three of them.
In the middle of the ocean lies an island with a palm tree. One after the other Plif, Plops and Plummy drop on to the island. Because Plif and Plops want the island to themselves, they throw Plummy into the water, but he knows how to help himself and so he builds his own island. But soon after, Plif and Plops start to argue amongst themselves. Plif wants a piece of the coconut that Plops is eating, Plops decides to cut the island into two pieces. Oh no, but what he didn't think of is that the two islands start to sink! But what a relief that Plummy had been watching all this and decided to turn into a lifeboat to save the two of them!
A small river winds its way across the screen. Plummy drops in and decides to do some fishing. A short while later Plif and Plops arrive. The two think Plummy's idea is good and steal his fishing rod from him. Disappointed he crawls under the bridge, but he's already got a few good ideas. He turns himself into a beaver and starts gnawing at the bridge on which the other two are sitting so that they fall into the water. This doesn't impress the others at all so Plummy decides to jump on to the river bank as a toad and hangs their bits and pieces from the rod. When he then turns himself into a shark, Plif and Plops are so terrified that they disappear off the screen. Plummy can now fish in peace.
Plummy drops into a garden. He finds everything quite interesting and starts gardening. Shortly afterwards Plif and Plops drop in, but they're not interested in the garden. They quickly get a sun umbrella and lounger and the two have a nap. Plummy has, however, now built himself a fine vegetable garden. Happily, he leans back and takes a nap, too. He doesn't notice that Plif and Plops are waking up. They promptly discover his garden, jump into it and stuff their bellies full. Plummy is furious when he wakes up, but he soon knows who the culprits are. With a few tricks he gets the other two to return the garden to its former glory and they all then take a nap in the sun.
All three Plonsters drop on to a scene covered in snow. Plops and Plummy are freezing and quickly put on their hats, scarves and gloves. Plif, however, is not bothered by it all and starts to bombard the others with snowballs. They can only save themselves by escaping on skis. But Plops falls and runs over Plummy. Only a tree can stop their snowball falling into the valley. Plif, who has been watching all this, laughs himself silly. But he soon thinks of another nasty deed. He turns himself into a snowman, calls the other two and hides himself. Plops and Plummy, who think that Plif needs help, go to his aid. To their horror, they think that Plif has frozen over and as they start to dismantle the snowman, in a well-intended rescue mission, the think that Plif isn't alive anymore and are very sad. But what a miracle, he reappears and they are all happy that they are together again.

Finally, they all sit down together and drink a nice cup of tea.
One evening Plummy stands in front of his house and looks at the starry sky. However, he discovers that a star is missing. With a bit of plasticine he makes a star and turns himself into a rocket in order to fly to it. In the final seconds before taking off, Plif and Plops appear. The two annoy poor Plummy on the planet, before he angrily packs everything together and flies home. But where is star the both of them were so fond of? Plummy, though, doesn't want to tell all his secrets.

But as always, with mutual help the Plonsters get their long awaited honey for their bread.
It is not easy being a western hero, and especially when one is not recognised as such. Plif and Plops are of the opinion that Plummy is not allowed in the Saloon Bar. However, he keeps his cool and turns himself into the bartender. There is Country Music, great drinks and reluctant bar stools. And as soon as Plummy turns himself into a bucking bronco, the other two notice that it is not that easy being a cowboy. But as in every good western, they leave towards the setting sun.
In the garden, Plummy finds a deserted bird's nest with eggs and wonders where the parents are. Plif and Plops also see the eggs and naturally want to eat them. Plummy hinders them, but they think up a scheme again. In a spectacular manner, Plif and Plops change into cuckoo eggs and then into cuckoo chicks. Plummy runs his feet off trying the fill the chicks up with food, but he knows what he will do later on in order to take his revenge!
Plummy is in the kitchen and starts making dinner. Plif and Plops drop in too. Plummy sends them into the living room to tidy up. They don't like that idea and start to play. In the middle of the chaos, Plummy serves the dinner. It takes quite a while before the living room is tidy and not all of the tidying up methods were approved by Plummy. Finally, the whole place shines and a fine dinner is served.
Plif and Plops want to go camping. As always, Plummy isn't allowed to go. But he thinks up something and follows them. Plif and Plops are not masters in putting up tents and everything goes wrong. Of course, they don't notice that Plummy is behind all the animals that have been annoying them. Plummy has to frighten the two of them before they can all sit down comfortably at the camp fire and make some soup.
The three Plonsters drop in front of a supermarket. Plif and Plummy want to go off straight away to buy some sweets. Plops brings the two back and tells them about healthy eating. This doesn't help though and it all becomes very turbulent between the sweets shelves and the fruit and vegetable section. Totally unnerved Plops gives up and goes out. The two other, however, realise that you cannot always eat sweets. They all make up and drink some fruit juice.
On the beach is a roll of paper. Plummy finds it first and discovers that it is a treasure map. He quickly starts trying to find the hidden treasure chest. Plif and Plops try to get hold of the map but to no avail. After an exciting underwater operation, Plummy drags the treasure chest on to dry land. However, he discovers that he cannot open the chest without the help of his two friends. All together they open the chest and enjoy the fact that they have found some fine royal treasure.
This time Plummy drops in to the kitchen and begins to make cookie dough. Greedy as Plif and Plops are, they decide to steal Plummy's baked cookies. They turn themselves into different kinds of animals and they do everything they can to get the cookies. Poor Plummy really has to defend himself until he gets rid of them. Only after a cold shower do the three manage to sit down and eat cookies together.
Plummy is in a good mood and wants to go rock climbing. Plif and Plops, who arrive later, see this quite differently. After stealing all Plummy's equipment, they make their way to the summit. They do everything they possibly can to stop Plummy coming with them. Only after a daredevil rescue mission, in which Plummy saves Plops' life, can they all enjoy a picnic at the top.
Plif and Plops want to go canoeing. Plummy drops in and wants to go with them. The other two don't allow it and paddle off. Plummy has to think of something. Only after turning himself into sawfish, squid and whale can he convince them. Finally, they are all friends again and they build a big Red Indian Canoe, in which all three of them can paddle together.
Plif and Plummy drop into a fairground. They are both very keen, but for the mean Plops it is much too childish and expensive. Plif and Plummy are not at all interested in his arguments and clear off. It takes a while before the three of them do go around the fairground together. No ball throwing, hide and seek or ghost trains are left untouched.
1996
Plummy is planting and growing raspberries. The moment before Plif and Plops can get their hands onto his fruit, Plummy builds a fence around his raspberry bush. Now both turn into butterflies. They fly over the fence and stuff themselves with Plummy's raspberries. Before he recognises them as Plif and Plops, they morph themselves into caterpillars and keep on eating. Plummy tries to find out what is going on and looks through a magnifying glass. The 'caterpillars' suddenly see a giant eye above them. Terrified they fall off the bush and accidentally morph into tiny Plonsters. So tiny that Plummy can keep them under a cardboard box - at least until he has harvested the remaining raspberries and turned them into a delicious raspberry jam. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing they return to their normal size and Plummy allows them to try a little bit of his tasty jam.
Plummy tries his hand as a farmer: he turns into an agricultural machine and ploughs the soil and sows the seed corn. As a „sun" he helps the seed growing and ripening. Plif and Plops turn into crows and pick up the seeds. When Plummy discovers the two greedy crows he tries to scare them off - without success. Only when he morphs himself into an ugly scarecrow, it gives them such a shock that they can't help turning into plonsters again. Plummy tells them off and gets them to harvest the grain. Then they turn into a threshing machine, a mill and into an oven - and very soon three delicious pretzels are ready to eat. The moment they start munching, a little bird shows up and starts picking up the seed. Plif, Plops and Plummy turn into funny scarecrows. The little bird flies off and the three Plonsters are all having a big laugh.
Plummy builds himself a little circus arena. At the beginning of the show he pulls three little rabbits out of his hat. Those three are a good audience and are giving a generous applause to each act of the show. Plif and Plops join them and soon they get very jealous seeing how much fun Plummy and the three little rabbits are having. They want this kind of attention too and push Plummy out of the arena. They even want to outdo him with a very dangerous high wire show. But right in the middle of crossing the tight rope they can´t control their balance any more and are in danger of falling off. Plummy turns into a giant pillow to catch them safely. Plif and Plops have had enough excitement for one day and now prefer to watch how Plummy the magician pulls out a giant carrot out of his hat for the three rabbits.
Plummy drops in to an oriental-style landscape and starts to build his own little bazaar with lots of fruit and goods, which he offers to sell. Plif and Plops take over the bazaar immediately and chase Plummy off. He takes his revenge with various trans-formations: a tasty fruit turns into an ugly toad, the fan against the burning heat turns into an aggressive mosquito. Plif and Plops get very frightened and - morphed themselves into snakes - try to flee from this scary bazaar. But at that moment Plum-my plays a little flute and the two snakes have to dance to the music until they can´t dance any more. And they have to think hard to calm down Plummy...
Plummy finds some nice shells on the seaside, especially one that lets him listen to the sound of the sea and even one with a nice, big pearl inside! Plif and Plops want to have such nice things too, but all they can find are some itchy algae and pebbles. So they morph themselves into a crab and a pelican to get their „hands" on these collection. Plummy finds out who played a trick on him and is plotting his revenge: he turns into a tiny, little starfish and let himself be caught by Plif and Plops. But once he is in their hands he turns into a giant octopus and gives them one hell of a scare. In the end all three of them are sitting in a sand castle decorated with Plummy´s shells.
Plif and Plops build themselves a nice, fast racecar, but they don´t want to have Plummy with them on their fast drive. He turns into a road block, then into a traffic light to stop them, but they constantly escape him by playing a trick on him. Now it´s his turn to play a trick on them: the car runs out of gas and Plummy quickly morphs himself into a petrol station, just that far from the car that Plif and Plops have to push it to the petrol station. The moment the both exhausted Plif and Plops insert the gas pump into the racecar, Plummy turns into a pneumatic pump. So the car is filled with air instead of gas and soon turns into a giant balloon, and all three of them go off for a ride across the skies...
Plif and Plops have gone fat from far too much food and are so immobile, that Plum-my is really worried about them. He turns into a pair of scales and encourages them both to check on their weight. The result is rather „heavy", and Plummy gives them good advice to do some sports. But these two fat guys are far too sluggish and lazy to do any kind of exercises. But finally, after Plummy turned himself into a basketball-basket and challenges them for a game, they get to like sports and loose the surplus fat rather fast...
In a desert-like landscape Plif and Plops find a golden coin and immediately mark a territory to dig for gold. Only a tiny piece of desert is left for Plummy. While Plif and Plops can find only scrap metal, Plummy is digging up one golden coin after another and some pieces of jewellery. Plif and Plops get very jealous and steal Plummy´s treasures. Plummy seeks revenge in a very crafty way: he dives into an Aladdin's lamp and returns as some sort of Djinne. The „Djinne" is in a rage and accepts nothing less than the return of the stolen treasures. Afterwards Plummy shows them what coins are really good for in a desert : he morphs himself into a big vending machine, inserts one of the coins and buys each plonster a tasty lemonade.
Plummy has built himself a seesaw, but has to admit that this is not a one-Plonster-only game, so he calls Plif and Plops. These two find a way to chase him away from the seesaw, so he builds himself a slide. Plif and Plops chase him off the slide just as easily. That is enough for Plummy. He morphs himself into a swingboat, and as soon as Plif and Plops discover this new playground attraction, Plummy gives them such a hell of a ride until they are totally exhausted. They listen meekly when Plum-my tells them off and then all three build a merry-go-round and have a fantastic ride on it.
Plif and Plops are really hungry. They build themselves a restaurant with a big menu. Plummy wants to join in, but the other two won't let him: Instead they give him a cook´s hat and a big sauce pan and ask him to cook for them. But as „guests" in their own restaurant they seem to have a very precise idea about what they want and what they don´t want. So they chase Plummy from table to kitchen and back and again, until poor Plummy is really angry. He turns into a „tasty roast chicken" and the moment they want to tuck in, he flies off. They chase him for quite some time. After Plummy has taken back his original form he prepares a big dinner for himself - and generous as he is, he invites his „customers", too.
Plummy has built himself a fantastic bicycle and starts to cycle on the racecourse, he has made as well. Suddenly Plif and Plops show up and feel keen to have a go at cycling. However, they aren't clever enough to build a bike on their own. They try to get their hands onto Plummy´s bike with all kind of tricks: as a fake bush, a puddle or a pot hole they try to bring him down, until his bike breaks apart. Luckily Plummy can restrain his anger and builds a three-seater bike for all of them!
Plif and Plops come across a tree full of juicy pears. But before they can grab the pears for themselves, Plummy starts collecting the fruit. With all kind of tricks they try to stop him: as a butterfly and a mosquito, a „living" ladder and a basket „gone wild" they make harvesting the fruit nearly impossible. So Plummy morphs himself into a small helicopter and picks the fruits, and generous as he is, he shares them with the others.
Plummy is dropped onto a frozen lake. He models some ice-skates for himself and an old-fashioned record-player and begins to dance on the ice until Plif and Plops turn up. They don't like ice-dancing and build themselves some ice-hockey equipment. In their rather hectic game they soon mistake Plummy for the puck and after some wild attacks and defences it happens: The surface of the ice can´t take it any longer, it breaks apart and poor Plummy falls into the icy water. This accident is something both Plif and Plops didn´t want to happen and straight away they morph themselves into a crane to get him out. Once the rescuing is a success and they start to „warm him up" with some jokes. In the end Plummy is able to dance a few more rounds on the ice.
1997
Plummy is happily floating on his lilo on the pond. Pliff and Plops ruin the peace and quiet by driving so close to him on their motor boats, that Plummy falls and sinks. Underwater, he grins and turns himself into a huge drain and pulls the plug out by himself, whereby the pond water drains away like a huge whirlpool and Pliff and Plops are left sitting on dry land. Remorsefully they turn themselves into a pump, and fill up the pond again and in no time at all, all three of them are sitting on a huge lilo for three.
Plummy builds a gondola and waits for some customers. Pliff and Plops want to have the gondola all for themselves and so they throw Plummy overboard. They become fierce rivals and after a fight, land in the water. Plummy saves them both and they all become friends again and enjoy a romantic trip in the gondola.
Pliff and Plops are envious because Plummy has a chemist's experiment set and they don't. They play around with a test tube and a very wild blue-green mass pumps out of it, together with bouncy balls. Of course, Plummy catches on and shoos them away in the form of a huge orange foam. But then they've all had enough of experimenting and get together again with a glass of lemonade!

And because it's so funny, the three of them turn into a super statue and put the camera onto automatic and take a picture of themselves.
Plummy models himself a ship and a captain's hat and goes on a sea voyage. Pliff and Plops are envious, become pirates, follow him and capture his ship. As a huge octopus, Plummy gets his ship back while Pliff and Plops flee from the octopus to the nearest island. Luckily, they don't have to wait long: Plummy picks them up and takes them to the mainland!
The Plonsters want to have a picnic in the autumnal forest and have barbecued chicken. In order to fan the fire, Pliff turns himself into a large ventilator, turns himself onto turbo speed and becomes the cause of a forest fire. They have to call out the Plonsters fire brigade: Plummy as a fireman, Pliff as fire engine, Plops as the water hose. And from now on, chickens will only be cooked in the microwave.
Plummy, as a bird, is being hunted by Pliff and Plops. They pull two feathers out and play Red Indians with them. In order to get his feathers back, Plummy turns himself into a huge vulture and takes the other two on a very uncomfortable flight, before the other two give him a banana as a kind of peace-pipe in order to restore the friendship.
Pliff and Plops push Plummy away from the minigolf course. He turns himself into many things in order to disrupt their game: as a ball with a mind of its own, as an unexpected hindrance and as a living hockey stick, which turns itself into a lasso. But, as ever, they become friends again and begin a fair match as a threesome.
Plops swallows a ball, gets terrible hiccoughs and has to be taken to hospital. Plummy and Pliff as doctor and nurse try to help him, but nothing works. Only when Plummy turns himself into a crane, picks Plops upside down, dangles and shakes him, does he manage to spit out the ball.
Plummy has just decorated a beautiful Christmas Tree, when Pliff and Plops suddenly start a snowball fight. Within moments there is a big mess. But before they get anything, Pliff and Plops have to tidy up and to decorate the tree again before the spirit of Christmas finally comes to the Plonsters.
Pliff and Plops trick Plummy and pinch his picnic basket, with which he is now making himself comfortable on the beach. Plummy gets everything back by transforming himself into different things - as a crab, seagull and sand worm. He finally manages to catch a big fish, which gets grilled on the beach as a reconciliation meal for the Plonsters.
Because Plummy accidentally swings his surfboard and hits them over the head, Pliff and Plops get in his way by turning themselves into a sand dune the size of a house, and a huge wave. But Plummy sails around them undeterred. After their spot of surfing, they all lie down in the sun and take the surfboard apart and use it as a beach towel!
