Every cassette that reaches sound restorer Nora Vale names an islander who will die the next night at 4:17, in her own teenage voice. It arrives labeled in her handwriting, from Quillhaven, an island she has never visited, where the town agreed to forget one hour. The island's only constable thinks Nora is the killer. Nora knows she never made these tapes. Someone with her voice did. A found-footage style horror mystery web series released on YouTube, made with AI-assisted illustration and voices from an original script.

A woman who restores old recordings for a living gets a cassette in the mail with her own handwriting on it, from an island she has never visited. The voice on it is hers, at seventeen, begging: Don't let them ring the bell. Nora Vale takes the ferry to Quillhaven, where the lighthouse keeper seems to have been expecting her, the constable goes white at a voice on the tape, and the mayor announces the old light comes down on Sunday, right after the bell is rung.
