Martie and Paul's summer vacation takes a dark turn when a masked robber hits the camp. The feeling remains that something worse awaits.
There's a body on the beach. The police are looking for answers and the camp is looking for scapegoats. A sign from the past makes Martie wonder if an old pattern is repeating.
Friends become suspects. Martie makes a new discovery. In Seerust, alibis are cheap and the truth is expensive.
A small clue causes big trouble. Drikus' story begins to slip, and Elsabé's confidence falters.
Martie and Brandi search in different directions. Seerust has more than one secret to hide.
What Paul can't remember makes Martie doubt. Juanita and Drikus get into trouble.
New versions of the night emerge. The more people talk, the less the puzzle pieces fit.
The pressure builds to breaking point. A plan fails, and Rigter decides how it should end.
Still waters begin to stir. The truth about the traumatic night is coming closer to the surface, and the impact affects everyone.
The truth does not bring salvation, only consequences.
