Overview

Stefan Beckmann is supposed to take over the management of his wealthy uncle Hans' profitable holiday park in Canada. Stefan's wife Petra and their two children agree to the move, even though they find it difficult to leave Germany behind. But the Beckmanns soon realize that they have been duped. It seems that their Canadian relatives are only interested in exploiting them as cheap labor.
