Wedwood Chronicles

"Skybound Tryouts"

Follows the fallout of their trip to the human world as the school gears up for Skybound, a high-stakes aerial sport played on dragon-back. The social divide at Wedwood becomes clear when Prince Cassian of the Water Kingdom mocks Jax’s "clearance" dragon and Orin’s orphan status. During an Elemental Weapons class, Orin shocks his peers by summoning a massive Fire Sword on his first try, signaling a raw power that earns him both respect and enemies. Meanwhile, Lia struggles to maintain her "perfect student" persona while the dark Shadow energy stirs within her. The boys head to the stables to train, with Orin determined to master the unruly Hiss. The episode highlights the growing rivalry between the kingdoms and the burden of Orin’s new talents. As they prepare for the brutal tryouts, Orin realizes that surviving the academy requires more than just magic; it requires a team that can withstand the encroaching darkness.
