Building 22

Overview

The events revolve around the character of Bahloul, the building’s caretaker (doorman). He is a simple, naive, and inquisitive man who enjoys involving himself in the lives of the residents to offer his help; however, he often inadvertently creates problems and humorous situations. Through the character of Bahloul, we are introduced to the residents of Building No. 22, each of whom has their own life and set of challenges—ranging from marital disputes, jealousy, and infidelity to conflicts between neighbors, as well as personal and material ambitions.
