After another stand-up performance, the popular comedian Boyan Kardarev decides to introduce his son Yasen to his new partner in life. The decisive moment is thwarted by the appearance of his ex-wife, whom Boyan has declared dead in front of his son and all his acquaintances...
The "resurrected" Emma's plan to take out a loan and leave fails after she learns that Boyan has declared her "deceased." Affected by the news of her own "death," Emma blackmails Boyan and stays at his home under the pretext of being her own son's new nanny.
Due to ongoing financial difficulties, Emma is forced to extend her stay at her ex-husband's apartment. Meanwhile, a scandalous clip of a drunk Boyan getting into a dramatic conflict situation that threatens to have the child expelled from school is circulating on the internet.
An unexpected call from Italy sends Emma to the customs at Sofia Airport, where she receives a surprise shipment – her dog. Boyan's apartment becomes even more crowded, noisy and cheerful. Thanks to his personal PR agent, Boyan manages to turn the negative of the drunk video into an asset – the news breaks in the press that the video is part of a large campaign against drunk driving. Emma resolves the problem with Yasen's schoolmate's haircut by inviting the girl's family to a formal dinner, at which Yasen apologizes. The happy endings become the reason for the emotional sparks to fly – Emma and Boyan seem to be getting closer and closer, and their unsuspecting son becomes more and more attached to his new babysitter.
In a phone call from Italy, Emma learns that she is totally broke and her departure from Bulgaria becomes impossible. But she herself is no longer sure that she wants to leave. Emma, Boyan and Yasen become more and more emotionally attached. Yasen decides to secretly take the dog with him to school. Another problem arises - the dog is discovered. Boyan's ex-girlfriend and Yasen's classmate - Rumi Kovacheva - turns the case with the dog into an occasion to settle personal scores with the comedian, without realizing that the only victim of the tangled relationship between the adults is little Yasen.
Driven by a desire to do good, Emma and Yasen organize a big birthday celebration for Yasen’s caregiver, Nadeto. Following a series of elaborate schemes involving all of Boyan’s colleagues from the bar, Nadeto receives an unexpected and touching gift. The celebration at the bar puts everyone in a sentimental mood—a mood dampened the following morning by the news that Yasen and Emma have been kidnapped.
The staged kidnapping of Emma and Yasen by two Italian brothers triggers a new rift in the relationship between Emma and Boyan. The comedian kicks Emma out of his home, but returning to Italy is not an option for her, as she faces potential lawsuits for fraud and a possible prison sentence. Nadeto and Yasen are deeply affected by Emma’s sudden departure. Through their actions, the two sabotage Boyan—Yasen refuses to speak to his father, while Nadeto makes a point of leaving his home. Boyan’s relationships with everyone around him begin to unravel rapidly. Determined to defy the circumstances, Nadeto secretly takes in the stranded Emma and her dog.
The absence of Emma in Yasen's life provokes old emotional problems in the child. Once again, a breakdown occurs in his school life. After another problem in class and a public reprimand for his behavior, Yasen runs away from his father. The panic surrounding the boy's absence forces Nadeto to admit to Boyan that she has taken Emma into her home. With Emma's help, Boyan manages to find Yasen - the child has returned to Vitosha to ask his "deceased" mother, Emma and the dog Lea to live in their home again. After the happy ending, Boyan takes Emma back in.
After a series of ridiculous coincidences, the two photos of baby Yasen with Emma end up in the hands of the child's psychologist - Stella. Shocked by the fact that Yasen's mother is actually alive, the psychologist gives Boyan an ultimatum - either he and the "sitter" Emma come to her for sessions to work on a way to tell the boy the truth, or she will file a report with social services. The truth begins to come out, and Boyan is faced not only with the threat of social failure, but also with failure in the eyes of his son.
On the advice of psychologist Stella, Emma and Boyan go to sessions to fill the gaping gap in their relationship – accumulated anger, accusations, reasons for the breakup, intentions for a common future – the two dig up emotionally unhealed. While Emma and Boyan are in a session, and Yasen is at school, Nadeto comes across the key from the attic and, putting the children's bike away there, the elderly sitter discovers the piles of shared photos of Emma, Boyan and baby Yasen... Meanwhile, the child finally manages to get an excellent grade from his father's ex-girlfriend - Rumi Kovacheva, but drops his personal box of ashes from the urn of his "deceased" mother, in which Mrs. Kovacheva finds a cigarette butt. .
After the media scandal with the fake beating of teacher Rumi Kovacheva, difficult days are coming for Boyan Kardarev - his performances have been terminated, the contract with the sponsors for the show has been frozen, the comedian's son, Yasen, is again in stress - his father's action is causing sharp arguments with his classmates. The only participation for comedian Kardarev is an invitation to host a Roma wedding, at which, more than ever, Boyan, Emma and Yasen realize how inextricably linked the three of them are to each other. Strongly worried by the uncontrollable media process, teacher Rumi Kovacheva seeks help from psychologist Stella, but there she comes across a work record from which she learns that Yasen's real mother is the imaginary babysitter Emma. .
Boyan Kardarev's big show is coming up, his team is in feverish preparation. Boyan convinces Emma that after the show, in the presence of the psychologist, both parents will tell Yasen the truth about his "deceased" mother. But, absorbed in the worries about the show and how to talk to their son, both parents completely forget to communicate with him. Yasen decides to take his bike down from the attic to ride it in the park. And he comes across all the videos and photos, from which he realizes that Emma is his real mother. Shortly before the start of the comedian's show, Emma calls Boyan from the emergency room at the hospital - Yasen has jumped into an empty pool and is in a coma with a concussion. Emma urges Boyan to go on stage and make his dream of a grandiose solo show come true. And she stays in the hospital with the child to make her son's dream come true - to have a mother.
