Overview

The story is set in Livno (BiH), on the edge of the Dinara mountain - a place that has become a quiet gateway to Croatia. At the center of the story are Bakar and Struja, two friends bound together by more hardship than luck. They have found a way to survive: illegally smuggling migrants across the mountain from Bosnia and Herzegovina into Croatia. The business starts as a small-time hustle, but every new run drags them deeper into a world where the lines between survival, profit, and betrayal quickly blur.

Stanka comes to collect the rent from Bakar, which she hasn't received for four months. While buying new sneakers, Struja flirts with the shop assistant. Bakar and Struja successfully complete the job. The party is in full swing, and Struja takes over the main VIP booth.

The police pull Struja over, but it turns out they know each other well. The officer is curious if he has any goods. This time, Bakar and Struja are also transporting a girl named Layla, who is terrified, so Bakar decides she should stay with them. Oluja checks on the boys to make sure they haven't smuggled anything. When he finds out the girl isn't with them, he loses his mind...
