Public Eye is a British television drama broadcast from 1965 to 1975 on ITV1. Produced by ABC Television for three series, and Thames Television for a further four, the programme follows the investigations and cases handled by the unglamourous enquiry agent Frank Marker.

Released on Parole Frank finds it difficult back on the outside.

1966
Frank is accused of stealing a colleagues wages.
Frank looks for a missing girl.
Mrs. Mortimer's husband returns after 7 years.

1975
Marker moves into his new office and a troublesome first day.
An offer from a wealthy client is to much for Marker to refuse.
Frank goes undercover at a hotel when the owner is convinced that her son's new wife is a gold digger. This is the very final episode of the series. At the time Alfred Burke told the TV Times that that was it but also said that was the case every season.

Frank is hired to look after a pet cat named Bertie.
A husband asks Marker to investigate his wife thinking she's having an affair, but is he having an affair aswell?
Frank is hired to find a missing man.
