The adventures of a Group 8 class working together in a holiday home towards the exciting, emotional, but above all swinging farewell to eight years of primary school. In the process, the class gets to know each other even better and deals with topics such as crushes, bullying, and homesickness.
2019

Group 8 of the Einstein School is going on a musical camp. Their teacher has assigned them a song to learn. Daniel is sick, so Gijs offers to drop off the lyrics at his house... but are they actually the lyrics that Mr. Dennis handed out?

Gijs wants to pull a prank on Mr. Dennis—but will it go according to plan? The class gets punished, and rehearsals for the final musical are put on hold. Will the class have to go home? Is this the end of the Grade 8 camp?

Bouchra can actually sing really well! Maybe she should get the lead role... And as punishment, Gijs has to do so many chores that he can’t spend any time with Luna at all! Before you know it, she’ll fall for Daniël—with his guitar... Maybe Luuk can keep those two apart for his sake...

Daniel finds his guitar, but other students' belongings are missing as well. Will the musical still go ahead if the students can no longer even trust one another?

They can forget about rehearsing the musical… The teacher puts all the children to work… And it’s not just the musical that seems to be falling through… What if your best friend says she doesn’t want to go to the same secondary school as you after all?

2018

It becomes clear that Lev, one of the tougher boys, is actually homesick. Mila wants to break up with Michiel, but she doesn't dare. The musical coaches decide to confiscate all the SIM cards because the class is spending too much time on their mobile phones.

Lev is absolutely determined to get his SIM card back so he can make calls... but why, exactly? Meanwhile, Ibrahim and Merel get into an argument over the musical rehearsal. Merel is worried about their relationship and asks Mila to help her out...

Lev confesses that he stole the key to the safe... He might even get sent home now! Ibrahim feels like Merel is keeping an eye on him... Is he going to break up with her? Meanwhile, the battle for the lead role between friends Lieke and Evi is becoming increasingly fierce. It is making Lieke insecure, and she no longer dares to sing.

Lev is being bullied by his friends... He’s had enough! Merel is also having a hard time now that things are over between her and Ibrahim... Meanwhile, rehearsals for the musical are in full swing, and musical star Patrick Martens even stops by to help the students.

The boys are rehearsing for the role of rapper Boss B. Yare confesses a secret to her friends—a revelation that is not well received. Sparks literally fly between Ibrahim and Mila. The girls decide that Yare is no longer allowed to sleep in their room. The musical coaches announce the roles for the female duo, hip-hopper Jeffrey, and the lead male role: rapper Boss B.

Teun comes up with a plan to secretly throw a party in the evening. Merel and Mila have a falling out and set out to rehearse for the lead role of Emma. * Choreographer Nick stops by to give the students a dance lesson. The musical coaches announce who will get the lead role of Emma and who will play the role of Carl. That evening, the class secretly throws a party—but it goes completely wrong.

Michiel wants to know where things stand between Mila and Ibrahim... The teacher finds out who broke the lamp and sends that person home... Rein van Duivenboden also stops by; he gets to work with the boys who are in the running to play the boy band in the musical.

It’s time to put on the musical! But things aren't going well for Mila—she’s locked herself in the restroom... And then, to top it all off, Merel accidentally tells Ibrahim that Mila likes him... Now what?
2022

The students are ready to depart by bus for musical camp. Everyone is incredibly excited to rehearse their final musical with the coaches. Yet, a number of students are running late. Take Bo, for instance; she has a personal reason why she would rather not go to camp. And what does Tijn still need to discuss with Dani, while his girlfriend, Liv, is waiting for him at the bus?

Bo is afraid of the dark, and Liv bullies her about it. Rens is also having a hard time at camp, as he is constantly being bullied by Morris. Tijn broke up with her via DM—yet Liv still acts as if they’re still together?

Dani wants Tijn to finally break up with Liv for good. He succeeds, and Liv wants to get revenge on him—but how will she go about it? You’ll see that and much more in this video.

Bo is worried about her role in the musical, and the bomb explodes between Liv and Nova.

Liv discovers Nova's secret, and Morris goes way too far with Rens.

Liv and Nova's punishment duty is over—in fact, it has brought the two girls closer together. And during the drop-off, things go completely wrong for Bo.

Liv notices that Tijn talks about Dani a lot—perhaps a little too often. And Bo finally snaps at Noëlle and Amelie.

Tijn finds out who is blackmailing him. And Liv is angry at Nova again.

2023

Group 8 of De Regenboog is heading off to musical camp, and everyone is incredibly excited! However, Ivy is going to miss her older boyfriend, Elias, terribly. And Lars isn't sure if he'll even be able to go to camp, as his mother hasn't paid the parental contribution yet.

Noa is desperate for a lead role in the musical and wants to put in an extra special effort. Her friend Hailey enjoys the musical, but is struggling with homesickness. Meanwhile, Ivy spends a lot of time on the phone with her boyfriend, Elias, who keeps asking for photos of her friends. The only catch is that he must not find out that she is still in the final year of primary school.

Ivy and Elias have been caught by the teacher. Now Elias knows that Ivy is 12, not 15. How will this turn out? Will Ivy be honest with the teacher about who Elias is? Simone doesn't make much of an impression with her homemade soup, and Hailey stands up for her. Why is the class acting so stupid?

The class is going on a bicycle scavenger hunt, and everyone is really looking forward to it. Hailey is too, though Simone would rather she didn't participate... After all, couldn't something easily go wrong during a bike ride like that? Will something actually happen?

The class waits in suspense: how will Noa return from the hospital? Many of the kids are annoyed by Duuk—except for Yara... and is Ivy secretly meeting up with Elias again? Hailey, for one, has had it completely with her mother—and she makes sure her mother knows it.

Sepp and Olivia like each other, but neither of them knows it. Who will make the first move? Joey thinks Sepp should ask her to be his girlfriend. Will Sepp have the courage to do it? Duuk keeps bullying Lars because he is poor. The whole class has had enough of Duuk—except for Yara?

It’s the last day of musical camp, and everyone is coming up with something fun for the talent show. Duuk is trying to make amends with his classmates, and Ivy just can’t help secretly seeing Elias again. Is this really a good idea?

The class is happy. Everyone is talking about the musical and the accompanying camp. Mick clearly isn't looking forward to it. When Mr. Daaf calls the class inside for an important announcement, everyone becomes even more tense. Could he be revealing the cast list already? But no—if only that were the case. Mr. Daaf has bad news about the camp...

Hooray! The class is going on camp after all. Upon arrival, everyone gets tested—and fortunately, everyone tests negative. Mick is bummed, though, because he’s on chore duty all week. Sally vlogs everything—something not everyone is exactly thrilled about. She feels the pressure from her mother, who is very keen on her posting content online every single day. Rosalie feels the pressure, too. She made a deal with her father that she has to study for an hour every day so she can get into VWO. As a result, she ends up missing out on fun activities. Luckily, Mick manages to make her laugh. Could there be something more going on there?

Puck is being questioned about her relationship with Liam. This makes her feel a bit insecure. She discusses it with him at the breakfast table. Will Liam make more of an effort? Meanwhile, rehearsals are back in full swing. Puck and Liam have to perform a scene together—but whether that goes particularly well remains to be seen... The friendship between Sally and Esmee is also under strain; the filming seems to be driving the two girls apart.

Things spiral completely out of control during breakfast. Mick has to clean up the entire mess and, as a result, nearly misses the start of rehearsal. Rosalie steps in to help—though whether that is actually well-received by the rest of the class remains to be seen... After receiving a compliment from Sanne, Rosalie is walking on air. She would much rather sing than study. Meanwhile, Puck is facing a difficult conversation with Liam. How will that turn out? And what does Sally discover when she comes downstairs late that evening? Group 8 of De Meander Primary School gets to go on a musical camp! Coco had a disastrous CITO test—will she even be allowed to go along? The teacher has brought an old suitcase with her and is being very mysterious about it. Pip reveals that she has already had her first kiss! But why didn't she tell Famke about it sooner?

Group 8 of De Meander Primary School heads off to a musical camp to rehearse their show. The class is guided by musical experts Maurice Wijnen and Carline Brouwer. During the camp, held at an old country estate, the students experience all sorts of exciting adventures. Finally, the moment arrives: the grand performance of their musical. It is an exciting, emotional—but above all, swinging—farewell to eight years of primary school.

Famke is determined: she wants to get kissed at camp. Vince seems like a promising candidate—until a jealous classmate throws a wrench in the works. Could someone else secretly have a crush on Vince, too? Coco avoids studying for her tests, preferring instead to immerse herself in the script. While their teacher is asleep, the students slip into the woods for a secret pizza party. But when their phones lose signal and darkness closes in, panic sets in: how on earth are they going to find their way back to camp?

The teacher is furious after the class walks out. She singles out Cas and hands down a severe punishment. While serving his punishment, Cas stumbles upon the teacher's mysterious suitcase and takes it with him. What does he plan to do with it? Pip helps Famke find the perfect candidate to kiss. Jessey and Miley both have their eyes on Vince, but will he even realize that they like him?

When the class enters the living room the next morning, they discover unflattering photos of themselves sleeping. Who could have done that? Elin suspects that Joël has a secret admirer, because his photo was taken down from the wall before the whole class had come downstairs. During rehearsals, everyone’s thoughts are elsewhere—except for Bella: she is desperate to land the lead role.

When the class comes downstairs the next morning, another surprise awaits them. Who on earth is taking all these sleeping photos? In between rehearsals, the class plays hide-and-seek. Romée tries to hide with Joël, but she doesn't succeed. Who ends up hiding in a closet with Joël after all? During the rehearsal, the teacher discovers that someone is missing...

Dex is still missing—where on earth could he be? Everyone is searching for him. Will he ever return to camp? While at camp, Joël receives a phone call from his mother. Is he really going to move to Spain now? How is he supposed to tell Elin and Job? He hopes to share his secret with Juul, but their conversation is interrupted. The next day, photos are hanging in the living room once again—this time, however, they aren't of the class, but of someone else...

Jade is very upset. She is afraid she will have to go home because the "sleep photos" were found in her bag during the bag check. Bella tries to impress Maurice and Carline by befriending Jade. Will it help her land a lead role? In any case, Jade is very happy with the attention she is receiving from Bella. That evening, around the campfire, Dex tells a very scary ghost story...

Romée notices that Joël is on chore duty all by himself, so she seizes the opportunity and goes to help him with the dishes. She asks Joël if he’d like to join her on a ghost hunt that evening... could this finally be her chance to be truly alone with him? That night, it isn't just Romée and Joël venturing through the house... Dex is up to something again, too. Thanks to Dex’s ghost stories, everyone in the class is on high alert... or could the house actually be haunted?

After the ghost hunt, a few students stay awake to figure out who is trying to play a prank on the class. They don't find a ghost, but they do find Dex—who is sleepwalking. Or is he just pretending? Once everyone is back in bed, spooky noises ring out, and no one dares to get out from under the covers. Who could it have been? The class grows increasingly frightened, and some students want to go home—especially after Jade gets an electric shock from a lamp. Romée is frustrated that she is so preoccupied with Joël instead of focusing on the musical; she blames Juul for this. Juul, too, has had enough—and ends up saying something she probably shouldn't have.

Dex confesses to Jade that he is the photographer; he is deeply sorry. Today is an exciting day, as the lead roles are being announced! The teacher has a plan to find out who the ghost is, and for this, she needs Elin and her drone. Will they discover who has been doing the haunting? Bella gives Jade tips on having a crush and asking someone out—but who does Jade actually like?

Romée finally gathers the courage to tell Joël that she likes him. What will his reaction be? Does he like Romée back? Dex and Bella are becoming increasingly close friends. He would have really liked it if Bella had landed the lead role. Dex does, however, ask Bella to rehearse for the musical together. Elin has had enough of Joël's mysterious behavior and asks him if he is the ghost—and why he has been acting so strangely lately. Will he reveal his big secret to her?
