Annapurna: Dreams and Nightmares(2026)

Overview

Annapurna: Dreams and Nightmares is a 2026 documentary film by Thin Air Cinematics that challenges the traditional "man-conquers-mountain" story by exploring high-altitude mountaineering through failure, fear and human obsession Filmed over 13 years, spanning 6 expeditions on 5 different climbing routes, this deeply personal documentary is an unflinching exploration into the life and mind of a high-altitude climber. What begins with a dream becomes obsession, and ultimately a reckoning with why we climb in the first place.
